This shoot was so exciting. My good friend MaeLisa Corona-Garcia (she/they) makes beautiful, handmade jewelry and I wanted to showcase that!!! I had such a great time with this shoot, along with some fun portraits of Mae as well! I had creative and production help from the minds and hands of my talented friends Haley Meister and Grace Swanigan. Before getting into the photos, I just wanted to talk a little bit about the beautiful human, MaeLisa. I have known Mae for multiple years now and my life has been better because of it. She’s always been like my internet big sister and has always shown so much support and love towards me that I will be thankful for forever. They really are such a creative, wise, bright, loving, strong, (shall I go on?) soul. Not only is she a talented creative with jewelry, but she is also an amazing singer (I will be rooting for a Mae singing career arc until forever). When I was younger, I was inspired by her to delve more into my spirituality and discovering a deeper part of myself and I will always think of her and feel immense gratitude towards her for that (and many other) reasons. Not to mention….. what a BADASS BITCH!!!! Anyway, I just wanted to brag about them for a bit before getting to the photo collections. All made with love!
