i forget how she heals

how she takes you in so effortlessly,

so lovingly and longingly.

the sun

i forget how her touch feels

how it instantly heals

little by little

with each kiss on your face

and how she wraps you in her warmth

how she wraps you in love

yet, she expects nothing in return.

nothing, but for you to let her heal you.

isn’t that wonderful?

to know the sun unconditionally loves you?

why do i forget about her love?

when she never forgets about me.

when she wakes up early,

waiting for me to wake.

whenever i am ready,

she will be there

every morning she is there.

she is there all day

all day, until she passes the love

to the moon.

so the moon can watch over me.

so the moon can love me

while she is away.

she always comes back,

to heal me and to love me

thank you sun,

for always taking care of me

and thank you moon,

for taking care of me

when the sun cannot.
